Most luxurious hotels in Chania Crete are found in the coastal towns of Agia Marina, Georgioupolis, Kolymbari and Platanias, on the northern side of Crete. Large suites, villas and spa resorts are spread in those areas, as well as smaller apartments and rooms to rent. The towns of Paleochora and Frangokastello in the southern side of the region are more secluded, but have good accommodation options, mainly traditional apartments and rooms.
