Greece With Greece’s financial crisis once again in the news, there are many people questioning if it’s still a good place to go on holiday. With its endless sun, stunning scenery and so much more, Greece is still a fantastic holiday destination.

If you have already booked to go to Greece, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) are advising you change enough euros for the duration of your stay, before you go. The withdrawal limits on the cash machines are restricted to Greek accounts only, so tourists can still withdraw daily limits from cards if needed. However, some cash machines may have queues.

If you haven’t yet booked your next holiday, then Greece is still a great option as there are some fantastic savings to be made, and with Greece’s current financial situation, tourism is more important than ever. The Greek islands are particularly great for summer holidays and you can expect to make big savings on hotels in the popular resorts. Crete, Corfu, Zante and Rhodes are all ideal for a week away in the sun, with beautiful beaches, traditional fresh food and glorious weather.
